Nominations Are Being Accepted For the Abydos 2009 A+ Honor Roll
Abydos annually recognizes effective instructional leaders in schools across the state. Principals
selected will be honored at the 23rd Annual Abydos Teachers’ and Trainers’ Conference, March 26-29,
2009, Hotel InterContinental, Dallas, Texas. A listing of the winners will be published. Each principal
honored will receive recognition at a special event during the conference. Each principal selected to receive

Abydos Learning International partners with Fontbonne University
All Abydos Learning offerings carry graduate credit through Fontebonne University. A Masters of Arts in Education: The Teaching of Writing Across the Curriculum may be acheived through face-to-face course work and long-distance learning.
Dedicated to the memory of Mary Jane Reese and Jim Corder, Abydos Learning International,
formerly the New Jersey Writing Project in Texas, once again will award the Mary Jane Reese/Jim Corder
grant to a Abydos trainer. The $1,000.00 grant is open to all active Abydos trainers in good standing and
